Catering to traffic-weary business travelers, Long Beach-based Sterling One airline takes to the air today under the slogan "no peanuts, no plastic." The airline offers a first-class flight daily to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, said Sterling President Lita Quetnick. Service will expand to two flights a day on Sundays and Fridays beginning Dec. 15, she said.

Flying under the slogan "no peanuts, no plastic," Sterling hoped to attract traffic-weary business travelers with Long Beach Airport's freeway access and smaller crowds than competing Los Angeles and John Wayne airports.
