The Emmy award-winning executive producer of the popular TV series "Get Smart" died Monday at his Studio City home of cancer. Arne Sultan was 60 and had worked in the entertainment industry as a comedian, writer and producer. His credits and co-credits over the years included "The Governor and J.J.," which he helped create; "He and She," "Barney Miller," "The Sandy Duncan Show" and "The Partners."

Jackson Rathbone, who plays a vampire in the “Twilight” movie series, has bought a home in Studio City for $1.2 million, The Times has confirmed. The seller was electronic music pioneer Erez Eisen, who bought another house for $820,000. Set in the Colfax Meadows area, the ranch-style home Rathbone bought includes a recently built professional-grade recording studio with a voice booth. The 2,500-square-foot home, built in 1938, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There's a lagoon-style swimming pool with a tropical vibe, according to Trulia , which also reported that Rathbone recently sold a Hollywood Hills home for $1.75 million.

"House M.D. " actress Olivia Wilde has sold her Los Feliz home for $2,190,950. The Spanish villa, built in 1929, features a courtyard entry, original Malibu tile, stained glass, wood floors and beamed ceilings. There are French doors, a screening room with a bar, a library/study, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in the 3,284-square-foot two-story home. The grounds include a gazebo. Wilde, 29, was a regular as Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley on "House" from 2007 to 2012. She starred in "Tron: Legacy" (2010)

Update: Writer-director-producer Aaron Seltzer has sold his Studio City home for $2,397,500, according to the Multiple Listing Service. The Cape Cod-inspired house, built in 1951, has five bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in about 4,200 square feet. It sits off a cul-de-sac on nearly a half-acre lot with a saltwater swimming pool, spa and cabana. There is a sun room with walls of French doors, three fireplaces and private gardens of some of the bedroom suites. The two-story home, designed for indoor-outdoor living, has a history of residents who write.

Actor Anton Yelchin has become a first-time home buyer with the purchase of a house in Studio City for $945,000. The gated country English-style one-story sits on a quarter of an acre with a swimming pool, a spa and mature trees. The 1,845 square feet of living space features vaulted ceilings, French doors and fireplaces in the living and dining rooms. The house, custom built in 1940, contains three bedrooms and 21/2 bathrooms. Yelchin, 23, played Pavel Chekov in the 2009 "Star Trek" movie.

Retired fashion designer Geary Roark has listed his Studio City home at $1,099,000. The Robert Byrd-designed storybook ranch, built in 1953, has hand-hewn beam ceilings, built-in cabinets and a two-sided brick wall with a fireplace in the living room and a built-in barbecue with a rotisserie in the dining room. There are three bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms in 1,894 square feet. Roark grew up in Tennessee, and his father was a building contractor. "I was really attracted to the craftsmanship in the house," he said, describing it as having "lots of wood and lots of character."

Built in 1923, the 7,600-square-foot French chateau-style house was renovated and expanded by DioGuardi and her husband, home builder Mike McCuddy. The five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home sits on 3 acres with an infinity pool and a hot tub. Features include a 23-foot-tall stone fireplace, herringbone walnut floors and a sauna. DioGuardi, 42, was on the panel of "American Idol" for two seasons starting in 2009 and a judge on "Platinum Hit" in 2011.

A Studio City home sustained an estimated $500,000 in damage after an early morning fire Saturday destroyed the roof and damaged some of the interior, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman said. Nine fire companies responded to the blaze reported at 4:36 a.m., said spokesman Jim Wells. The fire was under control at the Longridge Avenue residence less than an hour later.

A retired aerospace physicist who also dabbled in writing and composing was killed in his Studio City home early Thursday, allegedly by his housemate, police said. Robert Russell Weiss, 62, was beaten and possibly strangled, apparently during an argument with Thomas Brian Taaffe, 37, who moved in with Weiss, his late wife and their son about six years ago, Los Angeles police detectives said. The exact cause of death had not yet been determined, a coroner's spokesman said.

County property records, according to Zillow, which uncovered the sale . The contemporary Mediterranean, built in 1987 and updated, features an open floor plan, family room, two fireplaces, a den/office, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 2,600 square feet of living space. There are decks and a hot tub. A star architect to celebrities McCurdy, 21, starred on “iCarly” from 2007 to 2012 and now stars in the series “Sam & Cat.” She starred in the TV movie “Best Player” (2011)

Quentin has owned his house in Poway since 2011. For the sake of argument (theirs), here's how the places stack up: Greinke shelled out $4.575 million. Quentin paid $2.016 million. A man who allegedly broke into actor-rapper LL Cool J's home suffered a broken nose and jaw at the action star's hands Wednesday morning after what police sources described as a "knock-down, drag-out" fight. LL Cool J, who rose to fame with the aptly named hit song "Mama Said Knock You Out" and portrays a special agent on the CBS drama "NCIS Los Angeles," proved life imitates art and nabbed the burglar inside his expansive Studio City house. When Los Angeles police arrived at the Blairwood Drive home around 1 a.m. Wednesday, LL Cool J had detained the battered and bruised suspect.

Sage Stallone, son of actor Sylvester Stallone, was found dead Friday at his home in the 8100 block of Mulholland Terrace in Studio City. He was 36. The body of the younger Stallone, also an actor and producer-director, was found by his housekeeper, said his lawyer, George Braunstein. The cause of death was under investigation. Police called to the scene about 2:15 p.m. said they found no signs of foul play. "We don't have any of the details," Braunstein said. "He wasn't depressed.
