Telenetics Corp. said it agreed to acquire Sunnyvale General Devices and Instruments Inc., a Reno, Nev., supplier of communications and network products for the traffic-management industry. Terms were not disclosed. Telenetics, a Lake Forest maker of data-communications products, said it expects the transaction will be completed by the end of the month. Sunnyvale General Devices would be absorbed into Telenetics' Traffic Automation Division.

Telenetics Corp., a Lake Forest maker of data-communications products, said Friday it completed its acquisition of Sunnyvale General Devices and Instruments Inc., a Reno supplier of communications and network products for the traffic-management industry. Financial terms were not disclosed. General Devices, which will become part of Telenetics' Traffic Management Systems, earned about $350,000 on revenue of about $3.4 million in the 12 months ended June 30, Telenetics said.
