Sweden and Poland have signed a border agreement establishing the rights to a formerly disputed zone in the Baltic Sea, the Swedish Foreign Ministry announced. Chief negotiator Hans Cornell said Sweden has been awarded 75% of a 200-square-mile area south of the Baltic island of Gotland while Poland received the remainder. The agreement was reached after a year of negotiations, he added.
