The price of the party palace that rapper Drake bought in Hidden Hills last month has yet to make its way into the public record. Listed at $16.9 million in 2009, it was most recently set at $8.65 million. Outside of its new owner, perhaps the striking feature of the nearly 3-acre property is the grotto-style swimming pool with back-lighted waterfalls and an 80-foot slide. Other outdoor amenities include a tennis court, stalls for five horses, a riding arena, a mechanic bull and a viewing pavilion.

Emmy-winning composer Trevor Morris has sold his place in the Cheviot Hills-Rancho Park vicinity and bought a house in Santa Monica for $1.59 million. The Santa Monica property includes a three-bedroom, 23/4-bathroom house, a swimming pool, a spa and a shaded lawn. The 2,400-square-foot house, built in 1940, features wood-beam ceilings, a library, French doors and a balcony. The town house Morris sold for $915,050 has a studio, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,107 square feet of living space.

"Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles has listed his house in Brentwood at $3.495 million. The Mediterranean home, built in 1947 and recently renovated, sits on a walled site of about a third of an acre. The 2,636-square-foot main house features high ceilings, a loft library, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The two-story guesthouse has a gated entrance. Outdoor amenities include a swimming pool with spa, a kitchen, a lawn and fruit trees. Ackles, 34, has played brother Dean Winchester on the series since 2005 and has directed a few episodes.

Actor and stand-up comic Jamie Kennedy is looking for a buyer for his Los Feliz home. Listed at $1.9 million, the updated midcentury house features walls of glass, pocket doors, three bedrooms, a den, 31/2 bathrooms and 2,400 square feet of living space. Galaxy superstar Landon Donovan has listed his compound in Manhattan Beach for $4.295 million. Built in 2007 and 2008, the compound is made up of two houses with a swimming pool. The main house features 11-foot ceilings, antique terra-cotta floor tiles, wide plank wood floors, custom wrought ironwork and coffered and vaulted ceilings. There are five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and 5,715 square feet of living space. The smaller house includes a gym, sauna, home theater and 300-bottle wine cellar.

Celebrity and fashion photographer Mark Liddell has listed a house in the Hollywood Hills West area at $2.325 million. The serial remodeler redid the one-level contemporary, which sits with a swimming pool and spa on a third of an acre at the top of a sweeping driveway. The 2,652 square feet of living space include a living room, family room, formal dining room, a kitchen with breakfast area and two master suites for a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The teak-sided house, built in 1959, is entered through a gated courtyard planted with lavender and olive trees. The sales price is not yet available on the public record, but similar homes are listed in the $1-million range. The 1,303-square-foot condo takes in views of the swimming pool, the downtown skyline and L.A. Live. Moy, who owns and invests in restaurants as a sideline to his day job at Merrill Lynch, customized the place by opening up the office area to capture the views and moving walls so his dinner guests also can enjoy the vista.

Former Dodger Eric Davis has sold his home in Calabasas as a short sale for $1.8 million. Built in 1994, the Mediterranean-style house sits on a half-acre lot with a swimming pool, spa and half basketball court. The 7,239-square-foot home contains a media room with a wet bar, an office, four bedrooms and six bathrooms. The retired center fielder, 50, played for the Dodgers in the early 1990s and ended his playing career with the San Francisco Giants in 2001. The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer, who played there from 1984 to 1991, is a roving instructor for the team.
