Moving to Orange: Sybron Dental Specialties, a division of Sybron International, will bring 200 new workers and its corporate headquarters to the city of Orange. The company, which makes braces and other orthodontic products, has leased a 101,171-square-foot building on 5.42 acres in Orange. The $4.8-million lease is for 11 years, said Rex Thomas, a broker with Collins Fuller Corp. in Irvine, who represented the property owner, Equitable Life Insurance in Irvine.

Sybron Dental Specialties Inc., an Orange-based maker of professional dental products, said Wednesday that it will sell 2.65 million shares of common stock to repay a loan for purchasing its European peer, Hawe Neos Holdings S.A. Sybron said in a press release that the stock offering's underwriter, Credit Suisse First Boston Corp., will buy the shares for $50.4 million and that most of the proceeds will be used to pay off loans that financed the $45-million Hawe Neos purchase last month.

The Orange-based manufacturer of dental and orthodontic products said net income for the second fiscal quarter totaled $11.2 million, or 31 cents a share, down 18% from $13.6 million a year ago. Sales for the quarter ended March 31 increased 3% to $111.7 million. Sybron was spun off in December from Apogent Technologies Inc.
