PBS and Univision, the nation's largest Spanish-language TV network, will join in a first-time collaboration when they simultaneously broadcast "SIDA Is AIDS" on Oct. 30. The one-hour documentary, co-produced by KCET and Sylvan Productions in Los Angeles and slated for PBS' Latino Consortium series, focuses on the special gravity of the AIDS epidemic among Latinos (who know the disease as SIDA-- sindrome de inmunodeficiencia adquerida ) .
