The Denver Broncos have traded quarterback Tim Tebow to the New York Jets, according to multiple reports, a move that isn't stunning in that it comes a day after Denver signed Peyton Manning. The acquisition of Tebow also comes after the Jets extended the contract of quarterback Mark Sanchez. According to ESPNNewYork.com, the Jets will send a fourth-round draft pick to the Broncos for Tebow. In a news conference Tuesday to introduce new quarterback Manning, Broncos executive John Elway praised Tebow but added: “I think with the opportunity to have Peyton Manning's services, we had to take advantage of that.

Tim Tebow is "terrible. " Would making him the New York Jets' starting quarterback reverse the team's fortunes? "Hell, no!" A number of fans have been clamoring for Tebow to replace struggling starter Mark Sanchez. But "nobody" on the team feels that way. Normally it's opposing teams that talk trash about another squad's players. But all of the quotes above, and more, were attributed to Tebow's teammates in an article posted Wednesday by the New York Daily News. All of the extremely negative comments were made by anonymous players, including some starters and other members of the organization.

Tim Tebow is not playing in the Super Bowl. But that didn't stop ESPN anchors Mark Schlereth and Hannah Storm from discussing the New York Jets backup quarterback Tuesday during the network's live coverage. What's that you say? People talk about Tebow all the time? True. But did we mention that Schlereth and Storm did not realize they were on the air at the time? Ah, suddenly things got a lot more interesting as viewers got to hear the two analysts express how they really feel about Tebow's future in the NFL. The not-so-private conversation picked up after Schlereth apparently told Storm that the former Denver Broncos quarterback might want to consider switching to tight end. "But I'm going to tell you, I talked to a bunch of Broncos coaches who said, 'I just don't know if he's a fluid enough athlete to go over and play tight end,' " said Schlerth, emphasizing his doubt about such a move by squinting his eyes and showing his teeth.

Tim Tebow didn't do anything. Why should he be mocked? Actually, that's exactly why the New York Jets quarterback is being mocked in a display at a West Nyack, N.Y., Dick's Sporting Goods -- he did nothing, or close to it, all year. In photos tweeted this week by ESPN's Scott Hochenberg, the store has mannequins wearing the jerseys of various Jets and New York Giants players standing tall and proud -- all except the one wearing Tebow's No. 15. That poor guy is sitting by himself on a bench.

Tim Tebow and Taylor Swift shared a meal together Monday, so clearly they're in a super serious relationship. On the real, whether the pair have a star-studded romance (?), friendship (?) or business partnership (?) has become an enigma, a viral comet of Internet lore. Since they've remained mum about their rapport, we can only speculate which of the country singer's songs best describes her relationship with the Denver Broncos quarterback. Here are a few options... "Love Story" (If you've been to a wedding recently, you've heard it.)

Tim Tebow keeps ticking off those New York rites of passage, and Monday's Costume Institute Gala held at Manhattan's Metropolitan Museum of Art was the latest. The newly crowned New York Jet caused quite the stir in his Ralph Lauren Purple Label tuxedo (talk about All-American), distracting red carpet beauties, journalists and designers. "I'm just so blessed to be here," Tebow told Vogue magazine's William Norwich on the red carpet. The bespectacled writer quizzed the football star as to whether he prayed before arriving at the fete, which drew attendees like Cate Blanchett, Tom Brady and Giselle Bundchen, Rihanna and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Many say Tim Tebow doesn't possess the skills to be a successful starting quarterback in the NFL. Tebow is tremendously skilled, however, in answering critics. And the critics are not letting up. Former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, who hosts a morning New York radio show, is the latest to bash the former Heisman Trophy winner, and Esiason's opinion continues to reverberate via the New York airwaves. “If I were the Jets . . . I would cut Tim Tebow, I really would,” the four-time Pro Bowl quarterback said during his show.

Tim Tebow is a straightforward, honest guy. Really nice too. Outgoing, friendly and helpful to everyone he meets. A person like that surely wouldn't make it in the cutthroat world of politics, right? Ha! That's just the kind of thinking that might have us hearing the phrase "I'm Tim Tebow, and I approve this message" coming from our TV sets one day. “You can get looked at in a certain light, or people think, 'This is this type of person, he wouldn't do this.' Sometimes it's fun breaking those norms,” the New York Jets backup quarterback said in an interview that appears in the upcoming issue of Vogue magazine.

Tim Tebow is human (despite what some people might think). We human beings all have feelings. And those feelings can get hurt when someone you think is your friend talks trash about you behind your back. (Hey, Mike Whateveryournamewas from sixth grade, I'm looking at you. Yeah, I heard what you said about me to Fred Whatshisface that one day before homeroom. Not cool, jerk.) Oh yeah, we were talking about Tebow. Anyway, some of his New York Jets teammates said some not-so-nice things about him in the New York Daily News the other day. And to make it worse, almost all of them did it anonymously.

Tim Tebow has heard boos before, although usually those were for former Denver Broncos starting quarterback Kyle Orton back when the beloved Tebow was his backup. But the boos at Yankee Stadium on Sunday night were definitely for Tebow, now the New York Jets' backup quarterback who was hanging out with Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade as the New York Yankees took on the Angels. Sure, there were a smattering of cheers from Jets fans and probably some random Tebowmaniacs in the stadium.
