Joan Collins, the 80-year-old "Dynasty" star, reportedly asked to be removed from Shirley Jones' tell-all autobiography in a scene involving the offer of an orgy. Jones recently published "Shirley Jones: A Memoir. " In the book, the "Partridge Family" actress and Oscar-winner depicts a scene in which the young actresses and their then-husbands, Jack Cassidy and Anthony Newley, had dinner at Collins and Newley's Beverly Hills home in the late '60s. In the book, Jones writes that Collins, "who was wearing a low-cut something or other, seemed like an interesting woman.

Amanda Bynes' parents have begun the process of obtaining a temporary conservatorship over their daughter's affairs, according to reports out Thursday. Court papers were filed by Lynn and Rick Bynes on Thursday, TMZ said , and a hearing was set for Friday, according to E! News. A conservatorship, which TMZ said is difficult to obtain in California, would give them control over their daughter's personal and financial decisions. They had visited their child on Wednesday, L.A. Now reported.

As more details emerged about Amanda Bynes' fiery Monday adventures - activities that saw her hospitalized on an involuntary 72-hour psychiatric hold - it was reported that her parents may be pursuing a conservatorship for their wayward daughter. Lynn and Rick Bynes, who were photographed Tuesday leaving the hospital where Amanda is being held and have expressed concerns about her behavior for a year, have allegedly discussed obtaining a conservatorship similar to the the one that's helped Britney Spears get her life back together.

The entertainment world hasn't thought much about Rae Dawn Chong lately, but now she's become the latest celebrity trying to backpedal away from an N-word controversy. In a radio interview, Chong -- a veteran of 1980s movie hits like "Commando" and the daughter of comic Tommy Chong -- launched a tirade against Oprah Winfrey, her costar in 1985's "The Color Purple. Late last month Rob Kardashian settled a civil suit with a paparazzo he allegedly assaulted in March after she snapped him shirtless at a gym - and on Thursday, the criminal charges stemming from the incident have reportedly been dropped as well, leaving the reality-TV fixture in the clear. Photographer Andra Viak did not want to pursue a couple of misdemeanor counts Kardashian was charged with in early May, according to TMZ , so the judge let them go by the wayside. Singer Miguel is insisting that producers did not warn him against jumping during his Billboard Music Awards performance, a maneuver that appears to have seriously injured an audience member. The "Adorn" singer leaped over the audience to another part of the stage during his award show performance May 19, but he missed the landing and ended up falling into the audience, allegedly kicking a fan in the back of the head and slamming her head against the stage. Producers recently said that they had warned him against the leap; however, the singer's camp is refuting those statements.
