It's no secret that movies inspire travelers to visit places they see on the big screen. Now one travel company has designed a tour to India based on the movie " The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel . " The film takes place in Rajasthan, and the 13-day tour follows suit. However participants stay in four-star hotels rather than the down-at-the-heel "hotel" shown in the film (though there's a visit to that site). The trip begins and ends in Delhi and includes a tuk-tuk ride, a visit to Kanota Castle where the Viceroy Club was set in the film, and a day trip to Rawla Kumpar to see the hotel featured in the movie.

A travel tip: On a recent cruise to Alaska, we were offered optional city/area tours in each of the three cities we were to visit. Each tour was about $29. We decided not to purchase those tours and to visit the cities by ourselves. After arriving in each city, we found independent tour companies there to greet the ship. Those independent tour guides offered the same tour at $10-$12.50 per person. MARSHALL FOX Santa Barbara

Just in time for its upcoming reunion tour, Fleetwood Mac announced Wednesday that it's preparing a lavish reissue of "Rumours," the 1977 album that launched the group to superstardom and spawned such FM-radio staples as " Don't Stop ," " Go Your Own Way " and " Dreams . " Due out Jan. 29 from Rhino Records, the set will hit stores in two editions, one "expanded" and the other "deluxe," according to a statement. The former is to include the original album, live recordings from Fleetwood Mac's 1977 tour and unreleased outtakes from the "Rumours" sessions; the latter will tack on more outtakes, a "making-of" documentary and a copy of the album on 140-gram vinyl.

Enrique Bunbury, the Spanish singer-guitarist whose protean image and cryptic lyrics have caused some to view him as an Iberian Bob Dylan, will make three Southern California stops during his fall tour. Bunbury will perform Nov. 17 at Viejas Arena in San Diego, Nov. 19 at the City National Grove of Anaheim and Nov. 20 at the Hollywood Palladium as part of his "Licenciado Cantinas" tour (link in Spanish). That's a major jump up in seating capacity from Bunbury's May 2010 concert at the House of Blues Anaheim.
