Even Kate Upton can be uncomfortable in a bathing suit. Specifically, while running on a beach in a skimpy white bikini for her first feature film role in "The Other Woman. " So why is the multiple Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue model , who recently complained that she wished she had smaller breasts , concerned about the scene? "It was funny because when we were filming that scene, you know, whenever you go to a beach, everyone's wearing bikinis, so it's just pretty normal.

Two prominent lawmakers want to create a new playbook for the media and telecommunications industries. Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.), chairman of the Communications Subcommittee, said Tuesday that the Communications Act, last updated in 1996, is in desperate need of a rewrite. “When the Communications Act was updated almost 18 years ago, no one could have dreamed of the many innovations and advancements that make the Internet what it is today," Walden said in a statement.

Director Nick Cassavetes, whose soft touch with romance was behind that classic date movie "The Notebook," is now responsible for the quintessential anti-date movie - "The Other Woman. " There is no question whose side he is on in this little bit of rasty business starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton. My advice to guys? Step away from the vehicle, because "The Other Woman" is out of control and intent on running down a certain kind of male. Even if you're not the lying, cheating, thieving type - that would be Mark, a slickster played by "Game of Thrones'" Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, juggling wife, mistress, other mistress and some other ill-gotten gains - there is bound to be collateral damage.

Big league brothers Justin and B.J. Upton each hit his 100th career home run on Friday night. Elder brother B.J. was even outdone by his younger sibling. Justin, who plays for the Arizona Diamondbacks, homered against the Philadelphia Phillies in the second inning for No. 100 and about an hour later B.J., who plays for the Tampa Bay Rays, connected against the Baltimore Orioles to match it. “It was cool. I'm happy for him,” Justin said after the Diamondbacks beat the Phillies, 4-2. “It's a big night for the family.” The brothers also hit their 99th homers on the same night (July 20)

The Atlanta Braves agreed to terms Wednesday with former Tampa Bay Rays center fielder B.J. Upton on a five-year contract worth $75.25 million, the largest free-agent contract in franchise history, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The previous largest contract was pitcher Derek Lowe's four-year, $60-million deal. Upton's deal was pending a physical and the Braves weren't expected to make an announcement before Thursday. Upton changed the avatar on his Twitter page to a Braves script "A" by early Wednesday night.

Evan Longoria stood in the Tampa Bay Rays clubhouse, answering questions about some of the perks of celebrity and how he would like to be remembered when his playing days are over. That's the life of an up and coming star. The 23-year-old third baseman was an instant hit in 2008, signing a contract potentially worth $44 million after beginning the season in the minor leagues and then playing a major role in the team's run to the World Series. He was an American League all-star, the league's rookie of the year and perhaps became the most recognizable face on a club loaded with young rising stars like himself and center fielder B.J. Upton, whose emergence in the postseason has put him on a fast track, too. They are two of the reasons the Rays feel they have what it take to repeat as AL champions.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Rays Manager Joe Maddon, the former Angels bench coach, had a heated argument with first-base umpire Jerry Meals in the sixth inning Tuesday night, a dispute that led to Maddon's ninth career ejection, four coming against the Angels. More than an hour later, after Tampa Bay had come back for a 4-2 win, Maddon was still fuming about a controversial -- and apparently missed -- call that might have cost the Rays a bigger inning. With the Rays trailing, 2-1, Jason Bartlett broke up Angels starter Ervin Santana's no-hit bid with a one-out double to left in the sixth, and he took third on Akinori Iwamura's infield single.
