The environmental group Save Open Space has filed the seventh legal challenge to stop the massive Ahmanson Ranch housing project, contending that the Ventura County Board of Supervisors erred when it approved the development in the Simi Hills. The group, joined by the Woodland Hills Homeowners Organization and the Ventura County Environmental Coalition, filed its suit Tuesday in Ventura County Superior Court. It is the seventh group to challenge the 3,050-home project.
