Ventura Printing in Ventura says it has installed a state-of-the-art waterless printing press that reduces the environmental impact of color printing. The new press is expected to lower Ventura Printing's pollutant emissions by 25%, or about two tons annually, according to David Wilson, the company's general manager. He said the unit offers improved quality and is easier to operate than other large printing presses.
