Philip Morris USA was handed a major victory Tuesday when the Illinois Supreme Court slashed almost in half a $12-billion bond required from the company pending an appeal of a critical verdict. After all, we have the brains to not smoke, yet, isn't it a known fact that nonsmokers can also get lung cancer due to the smoke filling the air from smokers. It hasn't been until recently that we are provided with smoke-free environments. What about all the smoke we have inhaled from smokers for the past 50-plus years.
