A man who was shot to death by an off-duty Los Angeles police officer in a Glendale apartment was identified Friday by authorities as Gregory Rico Thomas, 39, of Rancho Cucamonga. Thomas, employed at a physical fitness center in Hollywood, and his girlfriend, Melba Ramos, 26, were found dead in her apartment Thursday morning.
