The search for the killer of a successful Long Beach real estate broker who was shot in the head and stuffed in the trunk of her car centered Saturday on a rival broker who disappeared the day of the slaying, authorities said. Vicente Lapid OCampo, 45, was being sought by police for questioning in the shooting death of Arlene Lee Chee, who was found in the trunk of her Mercedes-Benz on Thursday night just a few blocks from OCampo's Long Beach office.

Police today were seeking Long Beach real estate broker Vincente Lapid OCampo for murder in the death of a rival broker last week. The murder charges were filed at the Long Beach district attorney's office against 45-year-old OCampo after police discovered blood on the carpet of his West Willow Street office that apparently matched that of Arlene Lee Chee, 46, of Seal Beach.

Police are seeking Long Beach real estate broker Vincente Lapid OCampo on murder charges in the death of a rival broker last week. The charges were filed by the Los Angeles County district attorney's office against OCampo after police discovered blood on the carpet in his office that apparently matched that of Arlene Lee Chee of Seal Beach, who was found dead last week. Police Wednesday said they believe that the 46-year-old Chee was killed in OCampo's West Willow Street office in Long Beach.
