Huell Howser, producer-host of the PBS TV programs "California's Gold" and "Visiting . . With Huell Howser." "You know, if you'd asked where I had lunch, I'd be able to say a Bangladesh restaurant. I had the flu last night, so I called out and got takeout from Louise's on Larchmont. I know all the delivery people there, and when I call, they recognize my voice and already know what I want. I always have the same thing--chicken Parmesan, lemonade and a chocolate chip cookie.

Rewarding Routine: I cherish the hours, especially on Saturday mornings, that I spend running errands in my Larchmont Boulevard neighborhood. I get my car washed, go to the laundry, go to the bank, go to the barber shop, get my shoes shined, go to the photo store. I enjoy these things because I know people at each one of these places. It's an opportunity to just hang out and talk.
