College of the Canyons collected 11 extra-base hits, and Frank Halcovich pitched his ninth straight win as the Cougars beat West Los Angeles, 8-4, Saturday at West L.A. Bob Clark of Canyons homered and doubled, and catcher Pete Kuld doubled twice, singled and drove in two runs. Victor Sotelo had two doubles and two runs batted in off losing pitcher David Dawson. Alex Vasquez was 3 for 5 with two doubles and an RBI for Canyons, and first baseman Scott Drury added a triple.

Harbor 13, West Los Angeles 9--Damon Moore scored on a 10-yard run and Jon Williams had field goals of 42 and 35 yards for the host Seahawks. The victory gave Harbor a 3-0 record. It is the first time since 1965 that the Seahawks have won their first three games. West L.A. is 1-2.
