Westech Geophysical Inc., a Ventura-based oil-field services firm, has changed its name and announced plans to move its manufacturing unit from Escondido to Ventura. The company has changed its name to DHV International Inc. The initials stand for down-hole video, a fiber-optic inspection service that the company provides to oil and gas producers worldwide. DHV expects to relocate its manufacturing plant to Ventura County in May, according to Philip K. Schultz, president and chief executive.
