If anyone will believe Woodward again, they'll believe Biden when he says "I can walk on water." Woodward has tarred himself and the fourth estate. To believe that Casey would even talk to Woodward about subjects of substance is to believe in the tooth fairy. The greed of this man is as egregious as his character is black. God help this country if news people aspire to his type. Freedom of the press includes responsibility as well. Too much power always corrupts. The Washington Post's credibility is damaged for sure.

WASHINGTON -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is denying she muted a call from President Obama last year -- a story that originated in Bob Woodward's latest book and has now made its way into Mitt Romney's newest campaign ad. Woodward's book, “The Price of Politics,” cited an incident during the fight over the national debt limit in 2011, during which Obama placed a call to the House Democratic leader and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.)....

In an interview with Bob Woodward earlier this year, President Obama admitted that his much-publicized castigation of Paul Ryan's budget proposals was a “mistake,” according to audio transcripts released prior to the Tuesday release of Woodward's new book, “The Price of Politics. " Perhaps even worse than his dismissal of Ryan's budget, which flew right in the face of the Wisconsin congressman who was in attendance for the April 2011 speech , was Obama's mention of “Jack Ryan” instead of “Paul Ryan” in referring to the soon-to-be vice presidential candidate.

WASHINGTON -- Republicans on Saturday hammered President Obama over looming cuts to defense spending, saying the president has shown a "failure to lead" and done nothing to protect the military from being "hollowed" out by spending reductions. “The president himself has opposed or disregarded every attempt we've made to work with him on a solution,” said Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.), delivering the GOP weekly address. Obama and Hill Republicans, including West, agreed last year to slash spending on both defense and domestic programs if they could not reach a broader compromise on how to reduce the deficit.
