Worldwide Wireless Networks Inc

Worldwide Wireless Networks Inc. on Tuesday disputed Bridge Technology Inc.'s recent statements that the companies have severed their relationship and canceled exchanges of stock. Worldwide Wireless said it is reviewing its relationship with Bridge, a Garden Grove digital data-storage and communication-components company, but hasn't agreed with Bridge to discontinue any aspects of the relationship, specifically its investment in Bridge stock. Bridge Technology Inc. of Garden Grove said Friday it has purchased 300,000 shares of Worldwide Wireless Networks Inc. common stock at $4 each. Bridge, a provider of digital recording, storage and communication components, said it expects Worldwide Wireless initially to be the principal customer for Bridge's new wireless infrastructure apparatus. Orange-based Worldwide Wireless shares closed Friday at $3.44, down 6 cents, in over-the-counter trading.

Graham P. Espley-Jones has been appointed chief financial officer and chief administrative officer for the Meyers Group in Irvine, a provider of residential real estate information analysis and consulting services. Previously, Espley-Jones was chief financial officer of Kaufman & Broad's Multi-Housing Group Inc. and chief financial officer of ARV Assisted Living Inc. * Dennis J. Curcio has joined Universal Broadband Networks in Irvine as executive vice president of data services.

George E. Bers, Edgar E. Vivanco and Albert R. Ziegler have been named presidents of new divisions at Beckman Coulter Inc. in Fullerton. Bers, who recently joined the company as vice president for bioresearch, was appointed president of the life science research division. The specialty testing division will be led by Vivanco, formerly senior vice president of the company's diagnostic development, corporate manufacturing & quality division. Ziegler will head the clinical diagnostics division.
