Yorba Linda Ca Schools Overcrowding

A controversial plan to redraw middle-school boundaries and put one school on a year-round schedule to solve overcrowding drew more than 175 angry parents to this week's Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District board meeting.

The Yorba Linda and Placentia chambers of commerce are calling on local school officials to talk with the public about important issues facing the district. School overcrowding, the need for new campuses and the district's ongoing search for a new superintendent are all issues that should be addressed openly with the public, said chamber members.
