"Hell's Kitchen" is in circling-the-drain mode: It's just a matter of eliminations before we're left with Jon and Ja'Nel in the final, right? Or do you think it will be someone else? Until then, several of the remaining finalists are getting their moment: Cyndi nearly knocked Jon from his perch in the signature dish challenge, Take 2. The lamb gods finally smiled down on Susan. Mary rose to the occasion -- tongue issues aside. And then there's Zach. QUIZ: Are you one of Lena Dunham's 'Girls'?

Zach Smith is a long snapper who will be a preferred walk-on at USC in the fall. He also is becoming something of Internet sensation. Smith, a senior at the Menlo School in Atherton, Calif., and friends put together a video of trick snaps -- "Zach Smith: Long-snapping mix tape," he says during the intro-- that was posted to YouTube on Sunday. By Thursday morning it had generated more than 436,000 views. Among the feats: Smith snaps footballs through the windows of a parked car, over the full length of a court into a basketball hoop and into trash cans from varying distances.

Zach Galifianakis arrived at the premiere of “The Hangover Part III” on Monday night amid a throng of fans shrieking his name. “There's a lot of Alan in it,” he reassured about his character's place in the film. “Hopefully he can sustain a movie. We will see.” Indeed, the film revolves around the off-kilter Alan, who this time around is suffering from an early midlife crisis, sending the Wolfpack (Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms) out on a road trip. “He was the one stone left unturned," said director Todd Phillips, "and we thought we needed to solve him and make sure he's OK. When he's OK, we could finally move on because he's the one that causes all the trouble.” PHOTOS: Celebrities by The Times The third installment, which opens May 23, should lift the franchise comfortably into the billion-dollar box office mark, after “The Hangover's" $400-million global take in 2009 and the sequel's more than $500 million worldwide two years later.

SAN ANTONIO - Stumbling in playoff series openers is nothing new for the Memphis Grizzlies. Of course, they've never experienced the kind of fall they did against the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals. San Antonio may have left Memphis with a bruised psyche to go with a 105-83 defeat Sunday at the AT&T Center, the Spurs turning the Grizzlies' strengths into glaring shortcomings with the same smart, disciplined approach that has characterized their four championship runs.

SAN ANTONIO - Surprise, surprise, the Lakers made it to the Western Conference finals. Not really. But they did get repeatedly name-dropped Saturday by the San Antonio Spurs, which made sense considering the frontcourt duo the Spurs face in this round of the playoffs somewhat resembles the Lakers' tandem they quickly dispatched in the first round. Even one of the last names is the same. Instead of Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard, the Spurs must contend with the Memphis Grizzlies' Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph starting Sunday afternoon in Game 1 of the conference finals at AT&T Center.

Even as Zach Braff was taking heat for asking the public to help finance his next movie, the actor and director was contributing to another Kickstarter campaign -- to help save a historic theater in Northern California. Braff was among nearly 500 donors who helped raise $65,753 through the Kickstarter crowd-funding site to help the owners of the Rio Theater in the small town of Monte Rio raise enough funds to buy a digital projector. As the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday , many small-town theaters nationwide are holding such fundraisers to survive the transition to digital.

If Jennifer Aniston's ears were burning Saturday night, and then burning some more and then more, off and on for several minutes straight, it was probably due to one of the stranger sketches from “Saturday Night Live”: a Jennifer Aniston look-alike contest. After kicking off the bit with a falsetto rendition of “You Are So Aniston to Me,” Jason Sudeikis announced that host Zach Galifianakis' character came in eighth and last place in the contest, news that Galifianakis greeted with fury, clad in a long wig and a “Friends” shirt.

Zach Braff made headlines last week when he became one of the first top-tier Hollywood personalities to try -- and succeed in -- financing a movie via Kickstarter. Just a few days after listing his idiosyncratic project “Wish I Was Here,” which he aims to direct and star in, he had raised the Kickstarter target of $2 million to make the movie. The total is now at about $2.3 million and 31,000 backers, with three weeks to go.) It was a remarkable turnaround. For nearly a year, Braff, 38, had tried to make the dramatic comedy about a thirtysomething Los Angeles man who decides to homeschool his children.

The Clippers have been pushed to the brink of playoff elimination despite a career effort from Chris Paul. Paul tried to carry the Clippers by himself because his running mate, Blake Griffin, could only play 19 minutes 34 seconds because of a sprained right ankle. But for as much as Paul did in tying his career playoff high with 35 points, he alone couldn't take down the Memphis Grizzlies, who won Game 5, 103-93, Tuesday night at Staples Center. BOX SCORE: Memphis 103, Clippers 93 After Memphis big men Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol combined for 46 points and 19 rebounds, the Clippers, who won the first two games in this series, now trail the Grizzlies, 3-2. Game 6 is Friday night in Memphis, where the Clippers lost Games 3 and 4 by an average of 16.5 points.

So far in their Western Conference first-round playoff series, the Clippers have not found a way to handle Memphis All-Star power forward Zach Randolph and center Marc Gasol. That has shifted a lot of the pressure on the Clippers' All-Star power forward Blake Griffin and center DeAndre Jordan to deal with the Grizzlies' dynamic duo. As much as anyone, Randolph and Gasol are the reasons why the Grizzlies won the last two games to tie the best-of-seven series, 2-2. Game 5 is Tuesday night at Staples Center, and it will provide Griffin and Jordan another opportunity to wrestle with Randolph and Gasol.
