February 1, 2009 | Jordan Rau, Jordan Rau is a reporter in The Times' Sacramento bureau.
To: Director, Los Angeles County Museum of Art Re: Potential exhibition I am writing to renew my offer to let you exhibit recent artistic compositions by my 3-year-old son, Zachary Rau (2006- ). As I previously detailed, Zachary's creativity at Hansel-Gretel Pre-Kindergarten has received lavish praise not just from his teacher, Ms. Jandy, but also from our relatives, friends and neighbors. Employing the most rudimentary tools, including Q-tips for brushes and paper silhouettes of animals, rockets and choo-choo trains, Zachary has distinguished himself as a pioneering talent of his generation.

The June 3 Special Screenings column stated that in the 1928 comedy "Speedy," Harold Lloyd's cabbie character drove Babe Ruth wildly across town to Yankee Stadium in Brooklyn. Obviously, Ruth missed the game that day, since Yankee Stadium was, and still is, in the Bronx. ZACHARY A. CHARLES Burbank

In Robert Koehler's review, "Julie Halston's Comical Life" (April 16), he compares her performance, in part, to Jayne Meadows in "The Honeymooners." It was not Jayne Meadows who played Jackie Gleason's wife in "The Honeymooners" but Audrey Meadows. ZACHARY A. CHARLES Burbank

I have to agree with Pete Kossoris that the TV production of "Annie Get Your Gun" starring Mary Martin and John Raitt was "incomparable" (Letters, Nov. 26). I have played more than 2,000 performances of "Annie Get Your Gun" with many different Annies, including three different production with Mary Martin, and there can be no doubt that Mary was the best. However, I must correct one point: We did the NBC production in 1957, not 1954. ZACHARY A. CHARLES Burbank

Question: What are the travel requirements for going to Cuba? Is it possible to fly out of Tijuana, Mexico, to Cuba with a U.S. passport? Are there any other ID or passport cards required? Patricia Morrison San Juan Capistrano Answer: Yes, an individual can fly to Cuba from Tijuana, but a license - that is, a special permission - is required to do so (although some websites argue it's not necessary). Treasury Department regulations say this: "The Cuban Assets Control Regulations, 31 CFR Part 515 (the 'Regulations')

2Amid the tumult of the delivery room, Rohit and Geeta Jain were calm about one thing: Their new baby was sure to be a boy. Six months earlier, the Jains had spent more than $300 for a test that screened a minute quantity of Geeta's blood for traces of male DNA. The testing company said it was 95% accurate in determining the sex of a baby, even as early as the eighth week of pregnancy. After six hours in the delivery room, Rohit gaped as his wife gave birth to a daughter.
